Our first location is year-round in Peterborough, NH. The Mariposa Museum fosters peace and understanding across cultural borders and lines of perceived difference. Through arts and multimedia exhibits, school and library programs, and public presentations by visual artists, performers, activists, artists, and thought leaders, we offer people of all ages opportunities to explore, connect and engage with the richness as well as the challenges of a diverse, multicultural world.
Our second location is seasonal (June-October), and is located in Oak Bluffs on Martha's Vineyard, MA. Through these two linked spaces, the museums leverage resources to work locally, regionally, and even nationally to create more informed, compassionate, and equitable communities -- in classrooms, towns, New England, and beyond.
